Mixing

• Measure the moisture content of the substrate: max 5%
• make sure the floor is free of dust and grease and that any loose particles have been removed
• tape the edges to a sufficient height to prevent splashes

Mixing

• Combine the A and B component in the correct proportion (see label)
• mix for 2 minutes using a drill with mixing spindle attachment

Application: scatter

Pour the mixture onto the floor and spread evenly with a primer/nylon roller, brush, window or floor squeegee

Application: remove excess sand

Depending on the system to be placed on top of the primer, +/-5 minutes after application you can scatter fire-dried sand (0.1-0.3 mm or 0.4-0.8 mm or even 0.8-1.2 mm)

• • for flat roll coatings, waterproofing membrane, scratch coat: do not scatte
  • for mortar floors: 0.1-0.3 mm
  • for stone and marble carpet: 0.4-0.8 mm
  • for anti-slip floor: depending on desired effect 0.4-0.8 mm, 0.8-1.2 mm, carbodura 0.5-1.0 mm

Cleaning tools

Remove the excess sand after drying (+/- 16 hrs at 20°C

If the joints are still porous after this treatment, they should be treated again. This can be done by applying a new coat of primer (EP-TILE primeror EP-UNIVERSAL primer or EP-RAPID primer) to be applied. If the joints are deeper than 1mm, fill them with MORTAR EP-FILLER.

Additional points of attention

• Used rolls cannot be reused.
• Empty packaging: cured material or scrapings => construction waste, otherwise => chemical waste
• Clean mixing spindle attachment with acetone

Disclaimer

• Note: mixed product reacts quickly in the bucket, becoming very hot and causing harmful fumes. Therefore it is recommended that the bucket be placed outside if it is not empty after 10 minutes.
