MORTAR PA-CLEAR FILLER

Preparation

• drill with mixing spindle attachment
• white window or floor squeegee
• Nylon roll
• gloves

Mixing

• Before applying, check for stones above the desired surface and, if necessary, loosen them and remove them along with any other loose stones.
• Cover the edges with tape
• Check you have sufficient A & B material (for consumption, see label). The Mortar PA Clear-Filler should be applied in 2 coats.

Mixing

• Combine the A and B component in the correct proportion (see label)
• Mix for 2 minutes using a drill with mixing spindle attachment.

Re-rolling

1. Usage blunt nail shoes (or stick coarse sandpaper under a clean shoe) to walk on the wet layer
2. Pour one SMALL part out on the floor
3. Spread out using a transparent or white window squeegee or floor squeegee

Application first coat/layer

• Leave min 10min after wiping
• Use blunt nail shoes or stick coarse sandpaper under a clean shoe to go through the wet layer
• Use a saturated nylon roll of x mm to roll after
  • saturate the roller with +/-400g of material in roller tray
• Roll crosswise
• As the final rolling motion, roll the roller forward without applying pressure. Do not pull the roller back but lift it in a fluid motion so as not to make the roller inserts visible

Application 2nd layer

• After applying the first layer, wait 10 min to apply the 2nd layer
• Repeat the previous 2 steps

Additional points of attention

• Used rollers and wipers cannot be reused.
• Empty packaging: cured material or scrapings => construction waste, otherwise => chemical waste
• Clean mixing spindle attachment with acetone

Disclaimer

Because the reaction speed of the Mortar PA-Clear Filler is determined by both moisture and temperature, it is important that only a small amount is applied to the floor at a time (otherwise the material may already start to react and thicken). As soon as this work has been completed, pour the next bucket out.
