Installation instructions: PUP / PU-TURBO PRIMER

Preparation

• primer/nylon roller
• gloves

Application: resin

• Measure the moisture content of the substrate: max 5%
• make sure the floor is free of dust and grease and that any loose particles have been removed
• tape the edges to a sufficient height to prevent splashes
• check you have sufficient material (for consumption, see label)

Application: scatter

Shake: Shake the packaging slightly

Apply: Pour the product into a roller tray and spread evenly with a nylon roller

• Note: If puddles form on the floor caused by too much material, this cancause foam formation

Application: remove excess sand

Fire-dried sand should always be scattered on this primer up to 5 minutes after application.

• Note: scatter until primer is completely covered

Cleaning tools

Remove the excess sand after drying (+/- 1-2 hrs at 20°C)

• Note: Check the scattered sand has firmly fixed everywhere. If the substrate is too porous, the primer may be completely absorbed, resulting in the sand not sticking. In this case, apply an extra layer!

Additional points of attention

• Used rolls cannot be reused.
• Empty packaging: cured material or scrapings => construction waste, otherwise => chemical waste
• Clean tools with acetone

Disclaimer

• Close the can after use and invert it to prevent hardening
• Note: Check the scattered sand has firmly fixed everywhere. If the substrate is too porous, the primer may be completely absorbed, resulting in the sand not sticking. In this case, apply an extra layer!
