Tools

Preparation

• Before installation, clean the floor with water and degreaser so that all surfaces are free of grease and dust.
• After degreasing, the substrate must always be pretreated mechanically by blasting or sanding the substrate.
• Dose an amount of EP-Rapid Primer that can be processed within 10 minutes.

Mixing

• Mix the A component before weighing.
• Weigh the B component according to the mixing ratio and pour it into the A component. Mix for 1 minute in the can.

Application

• Pour part of the can into a small jar and start spreading the primer along the edge or skirting board. Spread with a brush or small roller.
• Pour the remaining primer as quickly as possible in several small puddles and spread evenly with a roller (Epoxy roller/polyamide roller). After 5-7 minutes in the can, the mixture can no longer be processed.
• When the primer is completely distributed, it can be sprinkled. Check the system sheet for the type of gravel and the amount to be spread. Walk over the floor with pin shoes and sprinkle the surface.

Cleaning tools

Clean the tools used with Cleaner EP, isopropanol or acetone. Hardened product residues should be removed mechanically.

Points of attention

• Place the surplus of prepared primer outside immediately after use. Temperatures can rise high in the pot and there is smoke development.
• Always use masking tape in places where necessary.

Preservation and storage

Shelf life: 12 months in a closed and original packaging when stored in a dry and cool place (10-25°C).

Read the safety data sheets carefully before using EP-Rapid Primer. Always wear personal protective equipment in accordance with local guidelines and legislation. Gloves and safety glasses are mandatory.
