The basis of this mortar floor is coloured quartz stones, a high quality epoxy binder , an epoxy pore filler and a top coat. The coating process takes place at a high temperature for optimum wear resistance of the coloured gravel grains (0.1-2.0 mm or 0.4-2.0 mm). The specific composition of the granules creates a hard, indestructible floor with a modern, industrial look. A mortar/trowel floor looks like a concrete floor, but is stronger, dust-free and aesthetically more beautiful. Due to the extremely compact composition of the granules, this industrial floor is extremely suitable for ultra-heavy loads such as forklift transport.

The floor consists of 4 layers: primer – mortar – epoxy pore filler(2x) – very scratch resistant top coat The minimum floor construction depth of this system is 6 mm. The choice of primer depends on the type of substrate. The epoxy binder used in this system was developed specially for aesthetic applications to keep discolouration to a minimum. In this respect, it is one of the best in the market.

Powerdec Industry makes use of a robust epoxy pore filler. This filler has increased UV resistance compared to standard epoxy gel and has high mechanical and chemical resistance. This pore filler ensures the floor is easy to keep clean using a vacuum cleaner or water cleaner, or by scrubbing with water and soap-free soap. Ideal for floors that are used on a daily basis.

On top of the best pore filler available, the Powerdec Industry gets an extra top coat: This transparent satin gloss varnish layer ensures an entire scratch-resistant surface.
