Safedec Basic

The composition of this anti-slip floor is formed by a transparent primer which is sprinkled with a natural sand/gravel of 0.1-0.3mm or 0.4-0.8mm or 0.8-1.2mm and then sealed with a colored epoxy coating. This produces a uniformly colored non-slip floor.

Depending on the grain size of the granules used and the amount of colored epoxy coating, a fine or coarse anti-slip effect is obtained. In addition to the standard quartz granules, you can also choose to sprinkle with carbodura 0.5-1.5 mm (an even more wear-resistant grain).

This floor consists of 2 or 3 layers : primer (encrusted), colored epoxy coating. The installation height of this system is 2 to 4 mm.

For renovations over an existing tile floor or uneven floors, it is recommended that a leveling coating be applied first to prevent the tile pattern or unevenness from remaining too brightly visible after the floor is installed.

Because the granules are completely encased by epoxy, dirt and water cannot penetrate the floor. This means that the floor protects against slipping even in wet conditions and is therefore extremely suitable for various industrial applications such as slaughterhouses, cold stores, fish and other food industries, garages, ... but it can also be used in the agricultural industry.
