This industrial epoxy screed is built up by a primer, a scrape coat, and the colored cast coat. So the floor consists of 3 layers.

The choice of primer depends on the type of substrate. To make it easy for you, we have added a document in Downloads below so you can easily see for yourself which primer is the most suitable for you. The epoxy self-levelling compound has 2 functions: to ensure air cannot rise from the substrate (which is necessary to prevent air bubbles in the finished floor) and to eliminate small irregularities in the substrate.

The colored screed itself is made of a pigmented epoxy resin and a filler. There are 2 types of filler that help determine the price and finish of the casting: a very fine filler that allows one to work very thinly (1 to 2mm) or a filler with which it is best to work at a minimum of 2 to 3mm.

This finish layer is used for hard floors where a wear-resistant and seamless finish is required and where chemical and/or mechanical influences are also expected. So it is ideal for use in garages, basements and warehouses.
